The biggest worry is the second 570 - in saying that an 80 + Gold 850W sounds like more than enough for your build. I wouldn't go any lower than that though..

yes i thought that the 2 570's would consume so much, thats why im wondering if i need a new psu or if my old corsair 850 gold+ is enough for it

You should be fine assuming it's not on it's way out. They're a good card the old 570! Used to have one myself before I downgraded :(

i like these cards, really happy with them, i got the EVGA HD version of them, although one of them started making some noise with the fan, so im considering getting them watercooled

They don't actually use nearly as much power as you think. Your psu is more than enough.

hmm cuz i heard they were really power intensive, and on most psu calculators, with my build input it always recommends me over 900 watts so its kind of worrying

My system is:

HD 7870

SSD x1

HDD x1

i5 3570K

600W Fractal design Newton R3

And I actually measured the power drawn from the wall. I used prime95 and Furmark as the load and my system only uses 280W at max and 55W at idle. It's NOT overclocked though.

This mean that I don't hit the 20% PSU load mark for the 80%+ Platinum efficiency but I do get overclocking headroom and expandability.

Psu calculators are for the most part, quite inaccurate.

^Good example

Might want to watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LiWThqgFfI4

and put in his parts in whatever calculator you're using.
