Need help programming a steam trading bot

I'm pretty sure trade bots are illegal.

Laptop specs:

CPU: Core i7 3630QM

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT630M

RAM: 16gb of unknown origin

Storage: 1tb HDD (probably going to upgrade to an SSD at some point)

Mouse: Corsair M65 Pro RGB

There are like 100 of bots on steam... and people are advertising their bots on steam forums, can you show me proof that it's illegal?

Valve has stated in the past that it's illegal, and are banning quite a large amount of people for using them. My friend who had a trade bot got banned.

If you're new to coding why not check something like GitHub, I'm sure there are many projects based around steam bots

Lol no, they might be against Valves ToS (which they 100% are BTW) but they most certainly are not illegal.

When having such ideas its great to check if they are actually no harm against steam or anything else their rules, instead of many bots out there so it should be legal statement.

 

In case you are new to programming/coding and you want to make stuff you probably want to start simpler.
