I am planning on making my first pc.

Since I am on a tight budget I need a cheap case.

This is the case I am thinking of buying.

http://www.amazon.com/NZXT-Technologies-Source-210-Black/dp/B005869A7K

But the case only comes with one rear exhaust fan.

It has no intake fan at all!

Should I go out and buy another fan for the intake?

Here is what the case looks like

I go MAD with fans and from that picture it looks like you can add two more fans one on the front and one on the side, therefore I would buy two more fans.... cheap ones for your budget of course :)

PROFILEYEAH

What do people even put in these things?

I'd bump up to the Source 210 Elite. It's one of the best budget cases available. The original Source 210 is also pretty decent.

The stock fans are fine as is.

You need an intake and a exhaust, those will make a massive difference(up to 20oc) and then the other fans are not really needed much

Just get a zalman case, they are cheap and come with a bloody ton of decent fans. 4 I think for most of them. hell you get 3 fans with one of their £15 cases.

+1 on the 210 Elite.

And one case fan should be enough since you will have a lot of negative pressure drawing air in. Do I recommend one fan no but I don't think your parts will fry.

But NZXT does amazing on budget cases and if you can get the elite version you would be better off.

I would just get one more case fan and stick it in the front for better cooling.

It depends on how high end GPU you have and what CPU cooler you will get. For one fan I'd go for intake since GPU/HDDs need more fresh air. Most CPU coolers can do exhausting by themselves anyway. 1+1 would be best bet. I had that kind of setup in last case (added one more to side later).

I could scavenge an old 120mm fan from an old pc, It is pretty dusty and about 7 years old.

Should I just buy an new fan?

Up to you. Try it out and see which is better.

I don't even have a case fan..

Do your components overheat at all?

Do your components overheat at all?

i had a cit 1011B with a single 80mm fan in the back.no components will overheat at stock but as soon as you oc them they start dumping out more heat into the case and then you will need more fans.
