If I have enough I might but that is questionable, Canadian dollar is crap

Yeah I know, sucks to be in Canada too

I'd save up for 1070. I know a there are quite a lot of games that can not get constant 60fps or even 30fps on max settings at 1080p resolution with a 480 or 1060

Hi there. Imm getting paid for babysitting soon and I will finally have enough Money for my gpu. I am gaurenteed enough to buy the strix 1060 however there is a chance I could get enough for the strix 1070. If I do get enough for the 1070 should I spring for that or get the 1060 and buy a noctua cooler or something. I currently have i5 6600k, CM T2, asus z170-a. I am over clocking but I only intend to have a 1080p display. Imm considering an led controller as well if I have the money. SLI is unlikely but is a future consideration. If you look up prices I am buying local (memory express south Edmonton).

Edit: I can't confirm how much I will be paid but it will be over 450 Canadian

Get the 1070. But make sure the PSU can handle it. What's your PSU?

I done my research and the RX480 has good value but I like the higher performance of the 1070.

Yeah get the 1070 for future proof

No I know a 1070 is better, I am saying if you can't get it then you should get 480 over 1060
