Hey everyone! I will be building a custom loop semi soon and I am wondering if I will need a new power supply. My current build is https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JbbKd6 and I am barely cutting it with the 750 watt power supply. I assume I need a new power supply right? This is probably obvious, but I want to save as much money as possible

While watercooling doesn't consume much power, I would advise replacing that PSU anyway. It's not a very good unit for higher power draw systems like yours. Look at something like an EVGA G2 850W

thanks yo

I would not consider this all in one watercooling solution a "custom loop".

Also, why 980 in SLI?

I said I am building a custom loop soon. Also what do you mean why 980ti SLI?

Doesn't it make more sence to get the newest gen vid cards? Also considering frames per dollar?

I got both of these for $500, so frames per dollar is amazing for me. It's about the same performance and I don't mind SLI so I'm gonna stick with it

Yeha, as everybody said an 850G2 is a good choice but there are other options. An EVGA G3 is one of those ironically enough. The Seasonic M12 850W and X-series 850W are also near that price point as of late.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
