For my current system I will just list the major components.

CPU - AMD FX 8320

GPU - GTX 770

MONITORS - 3x Benq EW2440L

I've had this current PC for a fair few years and i'm getting rid of it and getting a major upgrade. Here is some thoughts i've had.

Main uses for new PC is to stream Dota 2. Play GTA V, BF1, Star Wars Battlefront, Tera, etc etc. In the list i've included a 144hz monitor for said Dota 2 gaming.

I have 2 other 1 TB Hard drives ill be keeping from my current PC. Im open to any changes to the list.

1080p gaming only.

PCPartPicker List

AMD FX 8320 @3.9Ghz|16GB Patriot Viper Red 1600Mhz (DDR3)|Palit GTX 770|GigaByte GA-970A-DS3P

|Antec 1100|NZXT Havik 140|Corsair TX650v2|3 x 24 inch|Razer Deathadder Chroma |CM Quickfire TK (Blue)

i think u need a Z motherboard to overclock ur cpu, if u wotn overclock dont get the K version, also u set on that case? its good and all, but i prefer cases with more airflow over abit of noise

looks a little extreme for just 1080p, but if you wanna spend the money that's fine

Would you suggest a 1070 instead?

Slight to moderate OC will be applied and im not worried about the looks of the case as it will be under the desk out the way

No you need a z Mobo to OC period, but the k varient comes at higher clockspeeds by default so it's worth the extra money anyways imo (unless it's like 50 dollars more)

You said you wanted to stream things. So because of that, I would consider at least an Ryzen R7 1700.

You also picked an 128 SSD. Considering they are going to slow down alot after it's 70% full, and considering the games you want to play (and common sence would tell you to install all games/programs on your SSD), I would get at least 240 gb. Possibly even double that amount.

Only the OS and Dota 2 would be on the m.2. Dota 2 is about 17gb

@Ultra_Man52 You mainly want an SSD for faster load times. Most people still don't use it for mass storage. So if you want faster load times, it's smart to put all the programs/software/games on that SSD, so that the load times will be way better. Yes, when a game has fully loaded, you won't see the benefits, but getting into the game will be faster.

It's more expencive, and possibly not as good as the CPU you picked. (you might need to wait till there are some firmware/software fixes, but the hardware is good)

Never in my life has anyone actually suggested that I throw all my games on my SSD, but that could be a thing to do

yh, but ur prob on the "old" very bad amd cpus, and 1700 is possibly abit more expensive than the i7 7700k, like 10ish Gbp, but u get 2 more cores and 6 more threads which would help you with streaming, multitasking and maybe just maybe help u in the year/years to come if games likes to use more cores
