Delidding will probably work if you are willing to do it. A 280/360 radiator is a better alternative though

Hailea would be a little more reasonably priced and more powerful at 790w for 500$.  They've also got a 295w and 395w but those are not that much cheaper

You can't use g1/4 volumes of water with these chillers.  There's minimum flow rates and a minimum quantity of water required so the chiller isn't cycling on and off every 30 seconds.

strange that they make a g1/4 adapter for their own chiller then... Looks like their min recommended flow is 1200l/h which is 5.28 gal/min, I've never heard of anyone getting anywhere near that

Yeah that's very weird.  I would say 5/8" ID is pretty much the minimum requirement along with an AC pump (I use 5/8" hose and an Iwaki WMD-30 pump).  Trying to cram that much flow rate through the ~1/2" ID that g1/4 barbs are would probably blow them off.

yeah pressures would be way outta line.  Now that I think about it, most of the builds I've seen these on use a massive pump to circulate the res and draw from that with a more reasonable pump setup for the pc
