Does it matter?

Red jive

Im looking at all theses different models of gtx 1070 some 388$ usd and some 430$ usd. Does the more expensive gpu's run at only a small amount fast or is it a big difference?

There's a difference in temperature and noise. From my personal experience, my own RX 480 Power Color Red Dragon is loud as a vacuum cleaner. But that's on load with fan speed going up to 100%. Unbearable! Oh and the temps were not really nice, 83 degrees. But it was the cheapest RX 480 so can't complain there.

And depending on the card you get, you can have a custom board that has more advanced power delivery which could increase product longevity.

That's a motherboard. Not a graphics card.
