Complete overhaul? or 1080ti?

 In my recent post I covered an issue I was having with my motherboard. My AMD fx 8350 was going completely out of wack. I sort of fixed it with some minor drops here and there. That's fine, but I want to upgrade. I don't know if I should get a i7 7700k, a new motherboard, and a 1070. On the other hand, I could just get a 1080ti. I want to know if I should either get a overhaul, or a 1080ti. Don't feel like counting so I added a poll.

much as i like the 1080ti, its not worth getting over a better system.

I know what you mean and you're right, just phrased wrong  "8350 will bottleneck the shit out of the 1080ti" just clearing it up for people who might not be sure haha
