Unknown problem need help

Go to solution Solved by WorlofDead,

The problem was the LCD wire it was damaged and messing with the charging so just change the wire and it will work

Ok so my problem is what happened to me 2 days ago so normal day and so I go on my laptop a lenovo g570 and start watching Linus tech tips I decided to go downstairs so unplugged the charger from my laptop and went downstairs after like 6 vids my I slightly close my screen and then it goes green and the a purple strip fly by my screen and the power goes off and I think oh it must be out of battery so I go to plug it in and it starts to beep so but doesn't charge so I try the 60 sec thing but that doesn't help so I start to listen to where the beeps are coming from and it was from the adapter but the adapter was working fine 40 minutes ago

So here are the things u should know about my laptop:

Used to have a i3 processor I changed it to a i5 about 3-4 weeks ago

The hinges are broken so every time I opened it I slightly damaged the LCD wire to the point where u cant change the brightness and it's stuck at the highest brightness so it has to stay open at a 90-94 angle in order to not shut off or turn the screen green

That's all the things u need to know ask me if u need more info

Wow it's like the G570 series have hinge design problems. The one I my friend gave me also has a broken hinge that restricts screen position to 90 degrees unless I use brute force.

Anyways, have you tried turning on the system without the power adapter plugged in? Looks like yours just caught the ghost.

Yes it's not turning on at all I asked a couple of friends and they said it could be the motherboard or the adapter is broken

Is the power button lighting up and just turning off? Mine does that as well.

No there is no power

And it used to do that when I changed the processor I moved the wire to a place so it can turn on when ever I open the laptop
