Ok, I'm just going to give my 2 cents and say that's a waste of money. You can get phenomenal, professional quality sound with something like an AT2020 with a boom/shockmount for less than half that.

 

Spending $600 on a shotgun mic setup to use in games and chat programs where your voice and audio quality is already distorted and garbage, is a huuuge waste of money. You're better of getting a realistic setup and putting the hundreds of saved dollars towards something useful.

Do you have a good mount for it. I would get it as long as you recommend it and give me a good boom and possibly a good windscreen or pop filter (I can't find a good one)

I have the exact same one minus the shock mount, you tighten the wing nuts. I have a super heavy blue yeti on the end and it works fine.

No you can't. The AT2020 is great but it is also USB and a low end microphone. There is a point were spending more gets you nothing but it is far from the AT2020

So it doesn't matter if he's rocking a $950 shotgun mic, or a $50 modmic, nobody is going to tell the difference. As well as when it comes to things like teamspeak, skype, etc, there will be a difference, but the audio quality from a lower level mic is MORE than enough, and it doesn't justify another $900 so your voice is "extra clear" in teamspeak. 

 

My point is OP is clearly not using his mic for anything close to professional, or reputable. Spending such an insane amount on a mic for CS:GO, or Battlefield, or whatever the fuck OP plays is the biggest waste of money possible for an 18 year old kid. It's basically like SLI 1080s for minecraft, pointless.
