Upgrading PC

Hey!

A friend of me is building a new PC and I got some parts for him together.

I just wanted someone to confirm that this system will actually work or if there are any small things I should consider changing.

He has a HDD and Windows from his old system, so no need to buy a new one.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Ok, just out of pure interest is there any reason why? Because it's cleaner/easier to cable manage or?

Judging by the other parts, you can probably spend a bit more on the PSU. Cooler Master doesn't make the best PSUs IIRC, and the Corsair one looks good and is fully modular, 80+ Gold rated, and other good stuff.

I second @kelvinhall05's statement.

You have a high performance build, get a PSU that suits it as well. If you want examples if good PSU's look here:

Tier 1 being the best.

I can personally recommend the G2 series from EVGA, they are expensive but totally worth it unless you want to fry your system.

It's better to buy a i7 with a cooler like the 'Hyper 212 evo' or 'Cryorig H7'. An i7 is much better and you can upgrade later always to a better cooler. Instead of buying a new i7 from €330,-.

So in my opinion swap the CPU and CPU cooler this way: (it;s also 6 dollar cheaper xD)

My own build: RΛZΞR theme

CPU: Intel Core i5 7600K // CPU cooler: Cryorig H7 // Motherboard: MSI Z270 gaming pro carbon //

Video Card: MSI Armor gtx 1070 OC 8GB // RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB 3200MHz //

SSD: Samsung EVO 960 500GB // HDD: 2x WD yellow edition 2TB //

Case: NZXT H440 RAZER edition // Power Supply: Corsair RM550x //

Operating Software: Windows 10 pro 64-bit
