Hello
I am new to pc building and don’t know a lot. I would appreciate any feedback on my first build. I am unsure if the components I have are compatible or i am cheating myself on some parts.
I wanted my first build to be a strong one and I set a budget of $1000. The games I would be playing are: BF1, Overwatch, GTA5, Skyrim

Thanks in advance

I'd go with this instead, the graphics card and cpu will absolutely obliterate the build that you provided.

Oh yeah and with advice on your build -

* Case is super expensive for a build of this budget.

* That graphics card will struggle.

* The cooler is the ugliest cooler ever in my opinion.

* SSD is rubbish.

* Power supply is unnecessary, were talking about a graphics card that only need motherboard power.

The build I just put together will look a lot nicer even if the case you listed is your dream case because when you cheap out on uglier components on the inside, your build will still not look that great even with a nice case. With the build I made for you, you have an rx 480 and an i5 7600k, 16gb ddr4 ram and a really nice looking cooler for the cpu. The ssd is a lot more reliable and their is more storage capacity and I think this would be the perfect build for you. Good luck, if you have any questions. Don't forget to quote me.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

From your alternative build it is possible to overclock this rig right? would it be better the switch out the CPU  fan for a radiator instead. i only ask since the front of the pc would not get sufficient are flow for regular fans?
