Hey guys, I really want to build a gaming PC and my budget is $1200 tax in CAD. it is pretty hard for me to choose the parts since I am limited to parts to choose from and I don't have extensive knowledge on PC parts. It would be great if someone could help me out. Thank you

Um, they're practically the same apart from mine is under budget, has a case and a better rx 480

7500 vs a 7600k with a OC board and double the ram?

a better cpu and then u can OC it to make it even better and the stix card has 3 fan cooler on it and will give better OC on the card then the msi card

i changed mb to come in under and u cases are what do u like best

Left some room in there, should come between 1050/1100 with tax, or to max out and jump to an RX 480. Z Series board for later expansion (overclocking chips like the K series), granted lower end. Stock cooler will work but if you want an aftermarket one, well that's why I left the budget room ;) best of luck!

Reasonings

Non K chip, not gunna ask a first time builder to play with OC'ing, good solid quad core is plenty

Not a 7XXX series chip because $/Performance not there unless an OC'er

RX470 because unless venturing away from 1080p, not much better of a card is really needed. Again, $/performance

Stock cooler, back to OC'ing. Also easy down the road update.

I agree except this is much more like a horse. No point buying a horse if you can't buy the saddle. The budget room is for any peripherals, customization or legitimate OS. All things that aren't typically included plus being Canadian I was accounting for our various different provincial taxes, which can vary from 5-15%. Not to argue, just to pop my 2 cents in
