First off I am sorry if this in the wrong section!

As the title suggest my PC that I recently built is quite loud and I am hoping there are some tips you can give me to make it quieter

My specs:

H100i w/ stock fans (upgrading at christmas)

Corsair C70 w/ stock fans (upgrading at christmas)

MSI TF Gaming Edition 780

EVGA Supernova 750w PSU (I think this is the loudest part)

Will upgrading the fans make a big difference?

What can I do about the PSU?

Any other tips?

Thanks! :)

Well, for your PSU, you might have to buy a new one. Such as a Be Quiet! power supply. In terms of case fans, Noctua NF-F12!

You can change the fan in the PSU, but it will propably void your warranty.

When changing the stock fans, remember to change them to something quiet, like the Noctua NF-F12s, Cougar Vortex or Scythe Gentel Typhoons.

A bit worried about swapping a psu fan when I just got it, what are the risks?

I haven't done a fan swap in a PSU for some time, but the risk is that you might break it, an the warranty won't cover. But if you just take your time and remain calm and patient, nothing should go wrong.

Get NF-F12's for your H100i. Really makes a difference.

i guess noctua fans would be the upgrade here to make it quieter.
are u sure the power supply is making th emost noise? cause i have a shitty diablotek PS and its definitly not the loufest thing in my system xD.
if u want to change your case u can get a silent one like the corsair 500d , fractal r4 and some others

Silence optimized fans and a new psu is what you can try first.

If that's not enough. Maybe a sound proofed case?.

My cousin is running a 92mm exhaust fan. That is what i'd concider loud xD

Actually grounding yourself while working on high voltage devices can be fatal, because the electricity has a path to ground and it will travel right through you.

good to know

thats why them birds on them electric cables don`t fry.they don`t touch the ground or the other wire(null)which is also the ground.you will be the conductor.and consumer.

so, if I would be able to levitate, I could insert a nail in the wall socket :)
