The builds for a friend and he says that he doesnt want another case than that he loves it. Is the Gigabyte GA-B250M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard good with G4560? And neither the 480 nor the 1060 fits his budget.

The FX-6300 is better than the Pentium but the Single Core performances are excellent for the Pentium. Depending on what is needed, the Pentium is fine.

You don't need anything more than stock cooler for the FX-6300

 

RAM isn't a big deal. Again, depending on what he needs 8GB of ram should be more than enough

 

1TB Storage > 120GB of Fast Storage

Keep in mind if you do a Mirco build the upgrading and space is pretty limited. Just a food for thought.

Depending on if you have a preference of GPU software (NVIDIA vs AMD), then that is also a factor to consider.

You got to remember the Pentium is not even a month old. Pretty soon the FX series was realsed back in 2012 and is over 5 years old at this point. The Pentium is just newer and uses newer designs and technology that give it that edge. With some more time we will only see improvment with it as it gets new drivers.
