Which graphics card?

Go to solution Solved by The Sloth,

i would go for r9 fury, its faster than a 480 and a 1060.

and it also uses significantly more power, and is seemingly a decent chunk more pricy as well.

it's a bit an odd ball out the 3, really.

well it still is one of the best cards, performance being under a 1070, power doesn't matter too much assuming OP has a decent psu.

assuming OP is in one of those lucky few places where power is cheap enough to create the myth that it doesnt matter at all no matter the power cost.

... i am sure extra power won't mount to an astronomical power bill, out of the three the r9 is the best.

i'll put it like this: i got my 970 5 months before the R9 390 launched, which at the time had -for most people- better performance per dollar than the 970, but in those 5 months i had earned back said difference by the "neglible" amount of money i saved on my power bill.

you should use google, i heard you can find answers

just an fyi, the only r9 fury i can find in belgium is priced above €500, it'll hugely depend on OP's location if that's even an option.

not gonna say it's a bad deal, but this review of said seller should be a word of caution at least:

Sells used products as new. Upon arriving, GPU box was obviously opened and serial number label was taped over. I packaged it right back up, made them send me a label and sent it back. Also requested that they replace with a brand new one, but they said they had no more. Meanwhile, i saw them posting and selling the same GPU again on Amazon at a higher price. Waste of time vendor and they slow!
