109 C on Hardware Monitor

Just installed my 7600k, looked at OHM and almost died. Is this a real temperature or something else? Should I get my fire extinguisher at the ready?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

HNTR.

It's not your CPU temp. It's a sensor on the motherboard, that might just be freaking out and not show correct information.

Assuming that's not a faulty sensor, it's probably a VRM one, which is fine. Those things can handle insane temps, you don't need to worry about it.

Sorry for such a late reply, have been incredibly busy. The sensor is labelled AUXTIN1.

Here you go:

sry, not sure whats causing that, probably a faulty sensor or incompatible sensor/software.

looks like ur not the only one with the problem..googling  AUXTIN1 brings very similar posts in many forum. no one reported it to be a problem except its weird..u can google and see for ur self. if ur still concerned u can email the mobo manufacturer..but doubt u will go far with that stategy
