Oh. What is freesync? I've never bothered to look into it.

Freesync is AMD's version of G-Sync, except it doesn't require any special hardware(unlike G-Sync which at the moment requires a special module on the desktop). G-Sync and Freesync modify the monitor's refresh rate(within a range) to stay in line with what the GPU is outputting - this has numerous effects, including smoother overall gameplay at lower frame rates, less noticeable stuttering(or none at all), etc.

Monitors with freesync still work with nividia cards but you wont be able to use the freesync feature

Now, from my understanding, this monitor has Freesync, which is for AMD. So, does anybody know if it will work with nvidia and intel? I really like it but if it doesn't work, does anybody know a good alternative?

The monitor will work with NVIDIA and Intel graphical hardware, but Freesync itself will not - the CPU doesn't matter as the feature is on the video card, not the CPU or motherboard.

It is basically the AMD equivalent. If you want a very similar monitor (unfortunately still pricey) there is this one. G-sync ultrawides are few and far between

If you don't mind getting a monitor without g-sync you could save a few hundred dollars when looking for an ultrawide

Ok... we've established that, but do you happen to know what freesync is? I don't.
