So I recently got a ThermalTake Core P3 case and I want to mount my GPU sideways, the case supports it but I need a pcie riser. Thermaltake sells one however it has mixed reviews, should I try buying a thermaltake riser cable or is there any other pcie riser cables you recommend?

i like linux

I bought a pci-e x16 cable 3.0 , sorry forgotten brand and not black....google is your friend

It's a hit or miss really. It's really just a extension cable, just like how an USB extention cable works. Sometimes they work fine, sometimes they are broken by default. In this case it uses more then 4 or 8 wires and well, much higher speed. Do keep in mind there is a maximum length. I believe it was about 30CM or so. I never tried it myself, but that's what I've read in the past. Anyways, there is always a maximum length.

100% agree with getting quality with MNPCTECH. I'm not sure what Bill's source is but the only other cable I recommend is the ones from li heat

Not exactly sure where they get their supplies but might be from this manufacture called Li-heat, they had very well regarded risers and cables that were extra long even:
