AMD FX 4130

I just got a used fx4130 + mobo for 35$, i don't really need them.

What could i use them for, without spending any more money?

Any ideas?

I even have a old GPU.

Don't have room, and i have a much better rig for that.

That is what i was thinking, but i don't really have an idea of how to set that up or what i would need.

Just install Linux on it and create a samba share. Super easy to do.

I would have to invest more money for that, this is just a CPU and a mobo, i will need to find some RAM and a HDD atleast if i want to use it.

Would it be a terrible idea to use cardboard box as a case and a USB for the OS? 

Its a really good box.

As long as nothing shorts out, there is no problem with that. I'd get a small HDD for the OS.
