First time builder trying to find out the right CPU and other parts

So i`m 13 and i have about 3k in the bank from always saving and never spending on anything and working my butt off constantly and i have always loved playing video games (i`m not gonna give you the whole "how i got into PC gaming" scpeal (i also don`t know how to spell) ) but i am on a laptop now with a m460 CPU and a gt425m GPU and it has cut it for most of my mine craft but for things like modded or gta it struggles VERY heavily and i get if i`m luck 15 frames on gta but i`m building my first build and i`m thinking about possessors and i know i`m buying from eBay for most if not all my parts because i want to be as cost efficient as possible and get the best budget set of things for it and i`m thinking what i would need is a 4-8 core g3258 now i know that does`nt eggsist but i`m looking for the closest thing to it because i need a great budget preference and speed without the bottle neck off 2 UN hyper threaded cores and for the rest of my build i will leave below for all cetikes possible but please help on my CPU problem first.

Few things:

1. Don't get that PSU, get something like a Corsair CXM (only the ones with the black label are good).

2. You don't need 16gb of RAM, 8gb is plenty

3. Don't get a Z170 board unless you can get a processor that can overclock

4. What is the budget for the total build and the budget for just the CPU?

5. Zotac SSDs aren't the best IIRC, maybe try to fit in a Samsung drive?

6. Get a Hyper 212 Evo instead of the cooler you have on the list.

That PSU is pretty bad, get the black-labelled one.

Wait for Ryzen 5 and 3 if you can, you'll likely get the same performance for cheaper, or at a minimum Intel prices will drop

Wow a 13 year old with 3 grand, that is new to be but anyway I would seriously look into Ryzen, I wouldn't bother with Ryzen 7 because I think that would be a little overkill so I'd look into the quad core Ryzen 3 or 6 core Ryzen 5.

Ryzen 7 is already out

Ryzen 5 and 3 in few months

So the only thing you guys can think about on a 4 or more cored g3258 would be the ryzen 5 and 3 when they come out?
