Creating a image

NTDaws

I am creating a poster for my school and I need help deciding what dimensions in inches I need the poster to be, The only thing I can tell you is that it should be portrait and around human height (6 feet 1 inches), can someone give me something? Thanks.

Digital illustrations (meant for printing out) are usually either 300 or 600 DPI and of course in the physical size you want it to be. In pretty much any respectable art program you can punch in those numbers and get a blank canvas to do what you need to do.
