I was wondering if I could setup my home computer so that I can get on a chromebook at school and use chrome on my computer. I have a iMac 2016 edition and a PC. (The reason for this is for anonymity. I don't want the Network Administrators seeing me going on LTT. I have heard of browser in a browser but it is limited and I want full capabilities)

I have no experience with mac remote control but why not invest in a VPN.

Chrome remote desktop - not sure if this works on a chrome laptop/netbook/thingie. You need to install the client at home, then on your chromebook install the extension.

**However if you end up using a lot of bandwidth and they look at your history and see 99% of your traffic to/from a single IP address (your home) they will block your home address. Better off just using your cell phone either directly or share the internet connection from your cellphone.

Cool. I will test this I am just now thinking about like a VPN/Proxy I could connect to and browse normally of the chromebooks. Could they monitor my traffic then?

vpn/proxy/remote all tunnel your traffic to your house - all of which is usually over https so they cannot see what you're doing. They can however see that all of your traffic is routing through a single IP and just blacklist that IP..

The only other way they can see your traffic is if you have any DNS requests bleeding out and hitting their internal DNS servers.

Easiest solution is what I mentioned, chrome remote desktop. A vpn and proxy are more involved to get going, but a fun learning experience. OpenVPN for the win.

if it was from the mac to the PC then it would be simple

there are apps and extensions, but i wouldn't trust them

the only one that looks to work on a chrome book (and one i trust the most to at least encrypt my data) is teamviewer

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/teamviewer/oooiobdokpcfdlahlmcddobejikcmkfo?utm_source=chrome-ntp-icon

they have had scruitery problems but this is prob you best bet if any

****SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH IT'S REALLY TERRIBLE*****

Been married to my wife for 3 years now! Yay!
