Me and my good friend are attempting my build a computer that i capable of gaming on 720p medium settings 40fps with all games.

with a budget of 100 Australian dollars which is equivalent to 75 US dollars.

So far we have an Intel Celeron E3300 (2.5GHz, Dual core, 45nm), 4 gigs of DDR2, a 250gb hard drive, an OEM 250W SFF PSU and a dell JL1117 motherboard.

all of this is working and we got it for free.

We are looking to buy a core 2 quad Q6600, a gtx 460, a new power supply, and a case.

We only picked up the celeron to test if everything else was working and it boots into the BIOS no problems.

Just a suggestion, would it be better to perhaps look for a reasonably priced gtx 750ti? You can get some good prices for those used. Just throwing it out there, considering the 460 is a rather old card :)

Dang, it's a bummer that EVGA isn't selling their GTX 660s for $20 anymore. Would of been perfect for you.

I have ordered a new motherboard that supports up to 16Gb of ram, a gtx 275. My friend Jackson @Undergroundpizza is buying a Q6600 and more ram. All we need now is a power supply which supports the 275 which require 2x 6 PINS!!!, but i can buy adapters form molex to 6 pin so its all gud. Once all of the parts are delivered we just need a case which we can get for free and we will be good to go,  ill upload photos of all the parts and the completed build + benchmarks.
