Occasional 'A disk read error occurred'

As the title says, sometimes when I start my computer I get the 'A disk read error occured, Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart' message and its driving me insane.

In order to get passed this message sometimes I need to restart up to 5 times. I have an intel 520 120gb ssd that I purchased 4-5 years ago which has Windows 10 on it.

I have done 3-4 annual formats on my SSD which could have possibly have bad sectors from each format or so but I'm not too sure on this topic. I have the toolbox installed,

It states that the drive is at full health while the estimated lifespan is around 90%%. What should I do? thanks

 

PS: This has been going on for quite some time but I used to annoy it but now its getting really annoying.

Back-up now. Your drive is dying. S.M.A.R.T is an useful tool,but it's can't prevent an drive failure

Are you sure the drives dying? And if so, should I just replace it with another SSD considering how cheap they are now

from your first post. And yes you can just replace it with another SSD.

you're welcome Do remember to back-up before hand. and when you reinstall windows it should automaticlly be reactivated (if you have W10 latest updates)
