So this mention was prompted by apple's "remote" App suddenly forgetting everything.

 

I decided to try their in app troubleshooting. After doing so I think I prefer the apple of my youth asking "Have you rebooted your computer."

 

The two line troubleshooting boiled down to..."It's your fault the program isn't working, if you were using an apple computer, and an apple dongle, and an apple modem, and whatever else we felt like selling you this week...You have brought everything we're selling you this week right? Then your program would be working..."

 

Is was then treated to a few dozen pages of apple advertising...

 

Honestly, the crap QA, the fact that apple is treating their consumer as an endless revenue stream, and the elitist single source ecosystem mentality Is making me think about a samsung for my next phone (I live in a cold climate)
