Today I spilled water ALL OVER my keyboard. I mean, almost completely wet. I immediately unplugged it and disassembled it. I hung up the parts to dry and I plan to keep the parts hung up for a week, to be completely sure that it will work. While hanging up the PCB and switches I dropped it from about 5 feet. There is no visible damage from the drop, but it kind of looks like there is some corroded pins/soldering points. These may be from previous minor spills, but I don't know for sure. They are very minor though. My keyboard is a tenkeyless CM Storm Quickfire Rapid with MX Blue mechanical switches. I would like some of you guy's opinion on whether or not my keyboard will survive this ordeal. I'm using my old Logitech K360 as my keyboard for now.

I feel that it should survive. How bad is the corrosion?

The corrosion will eat through the solder and break the connection(s) at some point.

Good to know. Is there any way to combat this?

Try to clean the solder joint as best as you can using isopropyl alcohol. If possible, cybersolv might be able to help if you can grab some. Otherwise, re-soldering might be the only way to get rid of it. Not sure what you're going to about the corroded pin though.

Well like @Godlygamer23 said, over time it'll corrode away but you should be good.

What do you suggest I use to clean it?

Cotton swab should do.

No water or alchohol?

Sorry. Isopropyl alcohol or Cybersolv if you can manage to grab some.

Great. Thanks!

No guarantee that you'll be able to remove the corrosion with solvents. As I said above, re-flowing the solder might be the only way to get rid of it.

I  do know how to solder, so if I have any problems I'll try that.
