The problem is solved.

There was an option in the BIOS where you can select X2/X4 for the M.2 port number two, and X2 is selected as default, I have changed it to X4.

I have 3,200 Read now.

thanks to all of you guys who tried to help me.

Hi,

I had an Asus H170 Pro Gaming that I sold it today. I bought an Asus Z270 Maximus IX Code, link: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-MAXIMUS-IX-CODE/

With my old H170 I had 3,200 Read but, with this brand new Z270 I have 1,800 Read.

I have:

  • BIOS updated
  • Samsung NVMe Controller installed
  • Intel Chipset installed

The only different thing that I did with this new motherboard is using the second M.2 port that is available. See photo attached.

I have noticed that I have two warnings on my Device Manager, I don't know if this can be the problem. See photo attached.

Do you know what is the problem, why I'm having low Read with this brand new motherboard?

The SSD is at 32 C which is normal.

did you happen to have samsung RAPID enabled on the old motherboard?

or is that not a thing for NVMe drives
