Hello, to get straight to the point; I want to set up my case fans so that I have the "Leaning positive" air pressure but don't know exactly how. I've watched several videos and read several articles but I'm mostly just a beginner that is really into tech stuff.

I have a Phanteks Eclipse P400 case with its 2 included fans, and I bought the Cooler Master 4-Pack Fan bundle along with a SilverStone PWM Fan Hub. I also have the Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler. All 120mm, all 3-pin.

Fan Steup:

x3 Intake on the front

x2 Outtake on the top

x1 Outtake on the back

I tried manually changing the fan speeds in the BIOS but I just simply did not understand how to do it. I have an ASUS Z170-A Motherboard and I do not have the ability to change RPM itself. Instead, there is a graph with Fan Speed % at certain temperatures on which I can drag points on the graph to specify the speed at which the fans spin.

The x3 Intake on the front are connected to the Fan Hub on CHA_FAN_3.

The x2 Outtake on the top are connected to CHA_FAN_1 & CHA_FAN_4.

The x1 Outtake on the back is connected to CHA_FAN_2.

While in the BIOS, CHA_FAN_3 does not display an RPM value on it. The fans all spin and it can be selected to edit the graph points.

I was told to set the 2 on the top to a slightly lower RPM than the front and back fans in order to achieve the "Leaning positive" air pressure. Something around 60/40. (Intake/Outtake)

Any and all help is appreciated.

Which fans are where?

The silverstone pwm hub splits a pwm signal and won't provide control for non-pwm 3pin fans. Any 3pin fans connected will run at 100% speed.

The 212 Evo should have a bundled 4pin BladeMaster. Make sure you're relaying the information on your fans correctly.

The cha_fan headers support both pwm and dc. To control the mode to either pwm or dc, go into the motherboard settings > Advanced Mode > Monitor > Chassis Fan 1/4 Q-Fan Control. For 3pin fans, you should be using the dc setting.

The x3 Fans on the Fan Hub are fine, I want them to run at 100%. What I mainly want to do, is change the RPM on the two fans on the top of the case. Which are 3-pin, connected to Cha-Fan 1 & 4. I know about the Q-Fan Control, those are the pictures on my second reply. And in the picture, you can see they are by default set to DC.

As I said in the original post, the Q-Fan Control does not allow me to change RPM specifically, I am only able to move the points on the graph. Which frankly, I am not experienced enough to understand by myself. I was hoping I could find any software that might allow me to control those RPM speeds directly.

The Y axis is the cpu or system temperature and the X axis is the fan speed. The points indicate the target rpm at any particular temp. If you want a static fan speed, you can align the points in a horizontal line so that are are always at that percentage regardless of temps.

Don't forget to press apply when you're done.
