Odd PC boot Issue

VoyexTech

Hello! I have an odd issue with my dad's PC which is an HP Envy h8-1534. The computer occasionally won't wake from sleep (usually every 4-5 days). And it occasionally (2 out of 3 times) it won't boot as it gets stuck on the BIOS splash screen and won't load Windows 10 and I can't access the BIOS. I thought it was a HDD issue as it wasn't consistent so I got a new HDD and reinstalled Windows 10 and sure enough the issue still persisted. Any ideas? I'm completely stumped.

I have an Anet A8 as my project printer and a i3 MK3 for when I want things to work.

I extrude my own filament and haven't saved a penny yet.

@VoyexTech, I think that this is a bug within Windows 10 (at least that is what I was told). Also, I recently had the same issue regarding the hard drive and it turned out to be the SATA cable. Try replacing the cable and see if anything changes. Also try using a different SATA port.

I'd more than likely guess it's due to some overheating issue.

If not I don't have the slightest clue. It could be a number of things.

Check the temps if you get a chance.

Here's the temps (everything seems normal enough though): 14883248216202026503160.jpg

I changed the cable and still got this screen only:1488325468823-1146820584.jpg

Interesting. I don't know what to tell you then, I am not very good at troubleshooting. :(
