Is it still worth buying a i5 4460 in 2017, i would be playing overwatch and gta v with a gtx 960

It would go well woth the gtx 960 in terms of power. Might be a good idea

well i already have the gtx 960 just need to know if i should go with an i5 4460 for this year

Not worth it if you don't already have Motherboard and RAM, there is no upgrade path for your PC, I would go for i5 6600k or perhaps i5 6500 

 

I used an i5 4460 before and it struggled on GTA V

i dont really have the money for a 6600k, my budget is £280 for everything

i used to have an amd a10 7700k but it broke so im trying to replace it

edit: should i get a 6400 to use with it, as i can obtain one for £120
