so i just removed windows 10  from my acer aspire and installed windows 7 ultimate, no problem, but when i tried to connect usb so i can pass all the drivers it doeskin appear at all, needless to say that the usb works just fine.

Checked under the disk manager and it doesn't appear there, tried connecting my phone and it does charge it, but there is no prompt about the device not being recognized it just doesn't do anything.

Could really use some help here

USB 3.0?  You are going to need a usb 3.0 driver for Windows 7 I believe.

If the USB port does not work, how did you install W7?  DVD?

In new PCs, even the USB 2.0 ports depend on the 3.0 chip, you need to install the USB drivers for them to work.  Probably the Ethernet drivers too if that is not working either.

thing is i can connect any usb to install any of those and it doesnt have a dvd drive

Recently I had this problem with a new system that a client wanted to use with win 7,  I had to boot with a linux CD, download the drivers into the hard drive, restart and then run the drivers setup in windows.

If you installed win 7 over the original win 10 install, it could have deleted some sections of the disc, win 10 creates something like 5 partitions, if win 7 damaged any of them is likely that you can't restore the system from that same disc, you'll need a win 10 disc.

Mystery is the source of all true science.

Just as an FYI, Windows 10 creates two partitions on a legacy based system. It creates 3 on a UEFI based system.

Nope, that is not correct.     I have installed it several times, and it creates at least 4 partitions every single time in a blank drive.

In this laptop I created the D partition, and the rest was made by win 10.
