Of course I'd recommend ethernet, due to the way lower latency.

If Ethernet's not a possibility, just get a small PCI-e Ethernet card. make sure it supports the frequency and technology of your router though. (If your router is 5Ghz 802.11 AC, you want a wifi card that can handle that.)

the Red one's cheaper and a bit better (won't really be noticeable in performance), so I would choose that one if my system had no sidepanel.

 

however, with my tempered glass sidepanel, I'd be willing to pay a bit extra to get the black one and make it look good.
