PWM fan hub recommendations?

DELTAprime

After a little experimentation with the NZXT Aer P fans included with my Kraken X62 trying them out as case fans I've found the fan hub included with the H440 likes to spin them up to a very audible level, which doesn't happen on the Kraken or motherboard PWM headers. I am going to be replacing the fans included with my H440 with Aer P fans so since the NZXT alternative to the built in hub, the Grid 2+, doesn't have PWM support I'm wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a PWM fan hub that is thin enough to sit in a similar place to H440's included hub?

You would be better off controlling it with the motherboard especially if you have an Asus board as in the Sig as they have all their fan headers configurable to both DC voltage and PWM control as needed.
