so we know that 1800x and 1700x will not come with stock cooler and will be able to overclock. but that about 1700 only? will he be able to OC  or not? he doesnt has X in name, but that stands for XFR afaik, but OC for 1700?

This information is ALL over the internet.  All Ryzen chips are unlocked.

XFR is extended frequency range, which means it can boost a little extra if the temps are within whatever the limit is set at, that has nothing to do with overclocking.

But its already been said that all Ryzen chips have unlocked multipliers.

First, I'm getting so angry at all these Ryzen threads.

Second, all Ryzen cpu's are unlocked.
