My family is looking into getting a new router because we are sick of the generic router that we have.

I was wondering if anyone knows a good quality router with 802.11 ac.

I would say that the budget is about $200 US.

Corsair 350d, Asus Gryphon Z87, Intel i5 4670k 4.5 GHz, Corsair H100i, Corsair Vengence 16gb 1600 MHz,

AMD Radeon 260x, Corsair CX600, OCZ Vetex 450 128gb, Seagate 2 TB

Keep in mind that AC only gets it's theoretical maximums over the 5 Ghz band.  On the 2.4 Ghz band, AC performs at N speeds.  Any marketing person that says otherwise is lying to you.  That said, if you don't have any 5 Ghz devices, probably won't benefit much from an AC router vs an N router.

Here's a link from Aruba Networks (an enterprise wireless solutions company) that explains AC and the myths and facts:  http://www.arubanetworks.com/technology/discover-802-11ac/
