Amd or intel budget processor?

Looking for a sub 70$ processor for my first budget gaming build. I was originally going for a pentium however I decided to look at some AMD cpus and have found that there are some really good processors for around the same price. Which do I go for? Mostly indie games and eSports titles and light video editing. (Layering commentary over gameplay, nothing crazy.)

locked sandy or ivy bridge i5 on the used market would do good!

Save your money and don't buy something new for that much, or look for used CPUs like someone else mentioned.
