filter for speaker

hello,

 

i have some random speakers laying around and i want to build some cases for them 

 

i want to build 2 cases with both 3 speakers but i want to filter out everything below 1250-3000 Hz from one speaker (speaker A)

the specs i know from the speakers:

Speaker A: 3 watts @ 4 Ohm 

Speaker B: ? watts @ 4 Ohm

Speaker C: 15 watts @ 2 Ohm

 

this is the way i want to connect the speakers

 

i know that i can filter speakers with a capacitor but i don't know what kind of capacitor i need to do this... anybody an idea how i can calculate this?

i dont think it's as much calculation as it is preference, vareous values will get you different ranges, and depending on your preference and speakers, you could decide to for example have the tweeter take care of a smaller or bigger range.

all the speakers do full range but speaker A has way less power then the other ones... so that is the main reason i want to filter everything below 1250-3000 out of it. i dont care if it is 1100 Hz or 3200 Hz, but i prefer something in the middle of it

You would need to know the frequncy response of each speaker to work out what would be suitable cross over points.
