So I'm pissed. Had this PC for about a year, for the last six months this issue's been going on/off. What happens is network will be working perfectly fine, I've got it through regular Ethernet connection, socket seems to function as the LED that's supposed to tell you it's ready to process packets is lit. Then all of a sudden no network, and each times it happens when troubleshooting it's always : Intel(R) Ethernet I-219V has stopped working. Windows error code 10.

Then after a few resets it will work again. I've tried so many things, USB drivers to PC, reset through windows "reset network" option, BIOS flash, which fucked me up bad BTW, and nothing keeps it from happening again. I'm beginning to suspect either the actual LAN port, and since I have a Asus Z170-A mobo, there is a single LAN port, so no way to test that theory. Cable change, router socket change, I've tried it all, and the in the end, I shoved a bag of dicks up my ass. No really, I'm at that point.

So yeah, anyone has any ideas before suicide takes me?

There was problem that seems similar to yours, but it was with a older Intel ethernet controller.
