Ghost tracks on iPhone 4

When I was transferring music over to my iPhone (yea that happened) via iTunes, sometimes it would fail to sync and I would have to delete the song and try again. Sometimes however, when I delete the song, iTunes doesn't do it properly and leaves an empty track that's only visible on the iPhone. So on iTunes such track doesn't exist, but when you try to play it on the iPhone, it just skips to the next track. I've tried swiping right on the track but it doesn't give me the option to delete. Does anyone know how to solve this issue? It's pretty annoying because I have about 5 of these damn ghost tracks.

 

Running iOS 7.1.2 using the latest version of iTunes on Windows 10. Music is set to be managed manually on iTunes.
