Delete OS on old hdd

Just backup what you want to keep and then reformat

im buying an ssd soon and i wanna know how do i remove the os (NOT FORMAT THE HARD DRIVE ONLY REMOVE WINDOWS OS FILES) on my current hdd so i can install a fresh win 7 on my new ssd. i want my data to still be on my hdd though.
also i do not want to backup data because i have way too much movies, music, games etc. on my hdd. around (600gb)

yeah..i mean completely uninstall it(os) from my old hdd

can you delete the windows folder?

Don't think that this can be done.  You might be better off finding a way to make a backup.

Just delete the windows folder on the HDD, then install it on the SSD
