My ssd doesnt say the right amount of free space is free.

MikeyyMC

My SSD has probably close to 50gb of free space. i went through the properties of all the files and added up the space and all my files take up ~50 gb.

I wanna know what i can do to fix this.

Windows reads the amount in storage by the standard 1024 bytes, as opposed to manufactures going by 1000 bytes.

Try to use a software like WinDirStat to show what is taking place on your SSD. I had a huuuge pagefile problem that forced me to reinstall eveything and this (along with LTT folks) helped me to find the problem.
