I don't know if this is a bad ssd or a blessing, but my samsung evo is way outperforming spec, and it is starting to worry me. It would be great if someone could help.

Extremely similar to what it sounds, The RAM is caching data to make it access faster.

Results? Also, what does CrystalDiskMark say? Do you get similar results? There's no fancy magic going on here. It's impossible to break the SATAIII speed.

It's coming from the "C drive" through software, but those are NOT coming from the SSD. SATAIII cannot handle that much bandwidth. Period. The SSD is likely utilizing RAM caching.
