What would you recommend for gaming online AND Livestreaming? My USB adapter at the moment isn’t cutting it. It used to be able to livestream to 1080p but then after a while, it keeps crashing. So, after reading a few reviews and such, I heard that the PCI-E adapters are better. So what would you recommend? I really want to stream for my fans, they haven't had quality streams in a while. I tried cuttinng the quality to 720p and it would still crash. I would put a fan on it, crash. Double fan, crash. So I just want to have a good PCI adapter for $50 (I'm willing to spend just a little over $100 more if needed) I'm not allowed to have an ethernet cable sadly. I hear the

ASUS Dual-Band Wireless-AC1900 PCI-E Adapter (PCE-AC68)  is really good and just wondering if I should buy this. Like I mentioned, gaming and livestreaming. My USB Wifi Adapter gets up to 500 ping on some servers sooo.

do you know your current adapters exact model? The one you picked out would definitely get the job done (provided your actual internet connection can support the live streaming), if it can't, I doubt any other one can; but keep in mind it has cables that leave the PCI-E adapter out the back of the PC and to that stand which then has the antennas.

Gaming - Ryzen 9800X3D | 64GB 6400mhz cl30 9070 XT

Homelab - many servers...constantly changing.

3970X/256GB - 5950X/128GB ECC - 5600G/96GB - 3400GE/16GB - 3400GE/16GB

Actually I use a USB adapter currently, and I want a PCI-E

1 thing first, its not the cooling that's the problem. Secondly if you really want to stream in 1080p you should probably run ethernet to your pc because no matter how good the card is it wont make up for the lowered speeds and high ping of wireless. So I would recommend you spend 20$ on like 40 feet of cable.

I mean you can get routers capable of 5gigabit per second wireless speeds. Thats not lowered at all. Sure, range factors in, and there is always a small inherent increase in ping due to the extra communication done in wifi, but that does not make streaming or intensive workloads impossible. Its just not the best way.
