Deleting Windows Program Folders?

What are the downsides to deleting folders like these, besides the actual program not working.

I want to delete them since I don't use them, and have them disabled.

Aside from complications arising later, none.

 

I wouldn't bother deleting them since they don't take up much space. 

 

Windows Defender Advanced can likely be deleted with no issues, though.

What are the benefits of deleting them in the first place? I really wouldn't recommend it.

Agree, there seems little point in deleting program folders really, they are taking up such little hard drive space anyway.

What you should really ask yourself is, are you hanging out in that folder, staring at your folders so much that you actually notice those folders being there? You said yourself that you don't use them, and have disabled them, some of the folders would probably reappear if you managed to delete them.

I disabled updates... so I'm not sure if that would be the case.
