Mouse and Keyboard Not working

So I have fresh installed W10 on my pc 2 times and both times, my K95 and logitech g502 will work fine for a day and then when I reboot my pc, they don't work on the Windows lockscreen.  They work fine in BIOS but just not in windows.  I have only installed chrome on my pc and nothing else.  Any help is much appreciated!

Hmm that is weird, I have a k70 and a G502 and they worked just fine after a clean install and some reboots. Have you downloaded the logitech gaming software and the corsair utility? I think they contain some drivers

Yeah, my mouse and keyboard were actually working fine and then I downloaded CUE 2 and logitech gaming software.  After installing both, I rebooted and neither were working.  I also tried plugging in some other usb keyboards and even a PS2 keyboard which didn't work.

What if you don't install the software?

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

 

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

If I boot into safe mode, will the software still run?  The mouse and keyboard still dont work in safe mode.

It could be Windows automatically downloading bad updates/drivers and then they kick in upon reboot.

 

They work on my W10 laptop.  It's just weird that it still didn't work after reinstalling Windows.  It might be the drivers updating as someone mentioned.

try starting up the windows in recovery (try pressing all Function keys after the system posted)(try F11)

then click on troubleshoot, advanced options  and startup settings,(click restart) when it reboots you will see a blue screen and then you will click on F7 or the number 7, then the pc will reboot and the keyboard and mouse should work... try and post
