Are you trying to use the same copy of Windows on a different PC? You can't have 2 PCs using the same copy of Windows at the same time.

im about to wipe everything of my drives and do a clean install of windows. so im about to do a bootable device but it doesnt work. i cant get the creation tool to work on the USB

Yeah, is the USB drive formatted and cleaned properly through diskpart in CMD?? Also are you sure the drive is 4GB?

please try rufus to image the windows 10 iso onto the usb flash drive and make sure that you actually select the correct drive before starting the process

He doesn't need to use Rufus, the media creation tool will do it for him. If he has a program that can do it for him already why get another?

It's an alternative tool for creating bootable USBs. That shouldn't be necessary though for this case. Additionally, are you using the Windows 7 media creation tool or the Windows 10 media creation tool?

im using this https://www.microsoft.com/sv-se/software-download/windows10

Generally speaking, Rufus technically is better. However that being the case, even then, the Windows media creation tool should work fine for this.
