Bootable windows 10 USB

im trying to do a bootable usb with windows 10 but its not working. the USB is at 4gb and i downloaded the microsoft creation tool. ive used this usb before when doing this but this time it isnt working at all. i get error code 0xC180010C-0xA0019 everytime i try

Is the drive fully formatted and cleaned properly??

Yeah, is the USB drive formatted and cleaned properly through diskpart in CMD?? Also are you sure the drive is 4GB?

its formated and cleaned in diskpart, i've used this usb before while doing this so it should work now

please try rufus to image the windows 10 iso onto the usb flash drive and make sure that you actually select the correct drive before starting the process

It's an alternative tool for creating bootable USBs. That shouldn't be necessary though for this case. Additionally, are you using the Windows 7 media creation tool or the Windows 10 media creation tool?

He doesn't need to use Rufus, the media creation tool will do it for him. If he has a program that can do it for him already why get another?

Generally speaking, Rufus technically is better. However that being the case, even then, the Windows media creation tool should work fine for this.
