Help with Password Reset Key (PRK)!

I recently purchased a PasswordResetKey and I was so excited to use it but I am having some trouble.

When I plug it I went to my BIOS and enable boot from external device but it didn't work.

When I go to the menu to choose it as a boot drive it's not registered on there!

 

I am doing on this on a hard drive with Windows Vista OS. I don't use this hard drive but I've always wanted to get some old pictures off it so I put it in my Sony Vaio Laptop.

 

The main error I was getting was something to do with bootmgr.

Any help would be awesome, thanks!

Is the OS corrupted?

Is legacy boot enabled?

Try these and see what happens.

If all you want to do is get pictures off the hard drive, get a USB to SATA adapter and use that instead. Bam. You're good to go.
