If upgrade Win 8 to Win 10, will it authorize the Key ?

Hey reader. 

 

I have a question. Some one mentioned, that the product key , for the Windows, are now digitaly installed in the laptop. So if i have Win 8 installed, and i will instal a new copy of Win 10 , it will be auto activated online.. Is that true guys ???

Any one know, or tried ?

CPU - AMD 5800X , Motherboard - ROG STRIX B550-E GAMING , Memory  - G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 ,

GPU - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti MSI SUPRIM X 12G,  Case - 4000D AIRFLOW Tempered Glass Mid - Tower ATX Case - Black ,

Storage - Samsung 970 EvoPlus 500GB - Samsung 870 EVO 1TB + 6TB HDD,

Keyboard - Razer Stalker , Mouse - Logitec G502 Wireless , Operating System - Win 10 Pro ,

That offer has expired. You have to buy a key if you want to do that

How about, i chnage the ssd m2, with new one, and copy it, will it ask for the KEy??
